History 12
"I can only note that the past is beautiful because one never realizes an emotion at the time. It expands later, and thus we don't have complete emotions about the present, only the past." -Virginia Woolf
This is a site about the past, the present, and perhaps, the future. I will be covering many things about the Twentieth Century, but I will also be doing a Current Events post at least once a week. There are many things to learn about, and there will never be enough time to cover all of them here. Especially when I have no doubt that there is no one person out there that knows everything that happened in the 1900s. If you are such a person though, then you really should inform me of this, as I would be definitely more than willing to speak to you.
I hope that you will be able to learn something from my posts, even if it is just something like my thoughts on things. I believe that this is something entirely important to learn about though, as one really can't understand the present and the future without first looking back at the past. I will slowly be adding more and more to this throughout the next few months as I learn more myself, and I hope that we can all learn something from each other.
In the mean time, browse around and see what the eye can see! Maybe you will even enjoy my take on things, and even if you don't, I highly encourage you to tell me your own thoughts. Discussion can be sparked with a comment, but we will both be left without knowing as much as we could have if that doesn't happen.
